Solicitation number AB-2024-09354
Publication date
Closing date and time 2024/12/03 11:00 EST
Description
City of Calgary is becoming a PCI DSS level 1 organization in 2024/2025 after combining all City of Calgary and Calgary Parking Authority payment channels and transaction volumes. This merge of both entities will exceed 6 million transactions annually, thus requiring PCI DSS level 1 status.
As a result, the City of Calgary must perform a formal PCI DSS attestation annually overseen by an organization with an official QSA practice.
The last PCI DSS self-attestation was completed, signed, and submitted in April 2024. This was a self-assessed attestation that was submitted using a redacted SAQ D form – see below in the “Scope of Work” for more details.
The next annual PCI DSS QSA-based formal attestation will need to be completed and submitted by April 2025.
Contract duration
The estimated contract period will be 36 month(s), with a proposed start date of 2025/02/01.
