    Description
    Stony Plain is an urban municipality located west of Edmonton with a population of nearly 18,000 residents comprised of young families, working professionals, artists, entrepreneurs and retirees. The Town of Stony Plain is seeking to develop a roster of three (3) pre-qualified contractors for the provision of infrastructure utility maintenance and repair services, including responding to emergencies. The three (3) top-ranked pre-qualified respondents will be invited to enter into a Master Framework Agreement (Annex A) and may be invited to participate in second-stage procurement processes for the procurement of services that may arise. The services are to be provided on an as needed and as requested basis for a duration of three (3) years, ending December 31, 2027. Failure to perform or respond to second-stage procurement processes may result in removal from the roster at the discretion of the Manager of Infrastructure Operations. To determine qualified suppliers for the water, sewer, and storm utility repair services, the Town is requesting respondents to provide qualifications of the company and its operators, a listing of equipment owned and operated, details of safety programs in place, and references. The respondents shall demonstrate capacity for a quick response, quality end product, and a high level of customer service for future utility maintenance and construction work. Note: The scope for this opportunity does NOT include large capital projects for the town, nor with this roster be used for future large capital projects for the town. The work is anticipated to include: 1. Water Utility Repair & Maintenance • Hydrant repair or replacement • valve repair or replacement • CC repair or replacement • water main/service thawing or replacement • general maintenance work • emergency work as needed (ex: water main breakage) 2. Wastewater Utility Repair & Maintenance • sanitary main/service repair or replacement • manhole repair, maintenance or replacement • CCTV video inspection • CIPP relining of sanitary mains if needed • flushing or hydrovac services • emergency work as needed (ex: main surcharging or blockage) • Maintain, repair, and replace low pressure sewer system including E-One pumps. 3.
