Description
This Request for Proposals (the “RFP”) is an invitation by the Town of Hinton (“the Municipality”) to prospective proponents to submit proposals for the Vegetation Management Pilot: Weed Spraying, as further described in Section A of the RFP Particulars (Appendix D) (the “Deliverables”). The Municipality is seeking to pilot this weed spraying program to determine if this process should be undertaken by internal staff following the termination date of the agreement that will be associated with this RFP, therefore, proponents should speak to the methods their firms will employ to mitigate herbicide resistance including but not limited to: • rotating herbicide groups • using herbicide mixtures with more than 1 mode of action • sanitizing equipment • limiting herbicides with long soil residual time

The estimated contract period will be 24 month(s), with a proposed start date of 2025/04/14.
