    Description
Please note, if you are interested in participating in the RFP, you will need to sign an NDA which you will find is a part of the package. Please review all background and scope work that this RFP will cover. If you are interested then you will fill out the NDA template and reach out to the RFP contact. Background: The PP&S Technology Ecosystem Roadmap was developed to provide strategic direction for creating an innovative and tech-driven workspace that enhances the experience of both ATB team members and clients. As part of this initiative, ATB assessed the current state of PP&S technologies, conducted workshops with various levels of PP&S leadership, and ran discovery sessions to understand pain points and opportunities across all PP&S teams. In addition, we carried out extensive market research and analysis , and provided recommendations to senior leadership which were approved in August, 2024. The Technology Ecosystem Strategy and its governance framework ensure that all technology decisions align with ATB’s enterprise goals and PP&S strategic objectives. This strategy establishes a transparent process for evaluating, selecting, and implementing technology solutions in line with organizational priorities. One of the four key 2025/ 2026 technology ecosystem projects involves replacing the current Physical Access Control System (AMAG Symmetry) and modernizing the legacy card reader and panel infrastructure with a new open architecture solution for both software and hardware. Scope of Work: The intent of this RFP is to secure one or more Proponent(s) to provide the following services; Long-term Solution Integrator Partner: As part of the RFP, we are looking to partner long term with a Proponent that is forward thinking and innovation driven. In-Scope: The Proponent shall perform the following functions, duties, tasks and responsibilities: Capable of servicing all of ATB physical corporate and branch locations predominantly in Alberta (approximately 190+ including ATM locations) and out-of-province satellite offices (e.g. Kelowna, Saskatoon, Toronto) for predominantly CCTV coverage. Physical Access Control Systems (PACS) currently encompass 11 active locations. Provide ATB with access to the following SaaS software licensing in our preferred solution scenario: Genetec Security Center Base Annual License Genetec Global Advantage Licenses Genetec SaaS Federation Licenses Digital credentials (Apple, Android, HID Origo) Any other required or recommended technology or licensing not referenced above The 2025 / 2026 PACS scope would include: Replacing the current Physical Access Control System (AMAG Symmetry) with Genetec Security Center Software (as our preferred solution) and upgrading the legacy card reader and panel hardware infrastructure with a new open architecture solution for both software and hardware at 11 active locations. Assume that PACS rollout would be phased by location(s) with the first location to be transitioned being Edmonton ATB Place, then the various branch and advisory center locations, and then the two Calgary corporate office locations (Campus and Eighth Avenue Place). This will include replacing legacy access cards with upgrades that meet more stringent security requirements, while enabling a future shift to mobile access credentials on team member phones. Timing of transition or roll-out of digital credential on Team member phones is to be determined. Additionally we would be looking to consolidate both physical access control and CCTV systems to the same platform solution which is currently Genetec Security Center Software as our preferred solution. Please note that counts provided in Appendix 3 (PACS Reader Counts by Location Tab) are based on best efforts. For Calgary Campus, Eighth Avenue Place and Edmonton ATB Place, physical audits of readers were conducted. For other locations we are basing counts on AMAG Symmetry reporting which may or may not include inactive readers. There will be a need for vendors to validate on-site counts and locations as part of PACS project implementation. Panel counts are also best estimates. The 2025 / 2026 CCTV System scope would include the following upgrades in 2025 and 2026: Video Server Software & Windows Updates: Software, Servers, Storage, and Client Workstations - Apply window updates/patches; upgrade Genetec software version; video optimization (adjust settings to maximize video resolution & retention); monitor HDD usage to approximately 75% target; camera firmware updates as required Startup and testing - Complete programming of all system devices, schedules, default settings and parameters. Assumptions - Proponents will utilize the Genetec GUS server to support the software and Windows updates. All Genetec Streamvaults are in good working condition – Any hardware or OS deficiencies will require a service ticket to resolve. All work can be completed remotely - Travel costs are not included. ATB Place (Edmonton) - Panasonic EOL Camera Replacement & Storage Upgrade: Supply and install - new AXIS M4216-LV camera (Qty 59) and additional Genetec SV-2040-R4-60T-20-436 Streamvault server storage to accommodate the higher camera resolution of the new cameras. The target video retention time is 90 days. This will replace the EOL Panasonic cameras at ATB Place in Edmonton. Assumptions - The existing wiring and network infrastructure is in good working condition. Eighth Avenue Place (Calgary) - Axis P3364-V Camera Replacement and Server Firmware Update: Supply and install - replace existing AXIS P3364-V (Qty 26) cameras at EAP to be replaced with new AXIS M4216-LV camera. The server software at EAP will also need to be updated from 5.8 to support the new camera firmware. Proponent to provide ongoing technology subject matter expertise to ATB as required; and as such would be expected to keep abreast of subject matter technologies, best practices, major industry players and broadening ecosystem trends. An assigned account manager or success manager with regular monthly account check-in meetings and one annual account status review. Proponent acts as project manager for all upgrades, expansions, or roll-outs of physical access control or CCTV system software, and related hardware, networking, and cybersecurity projects. This will include their own resourcing, ATB-side resourcing coordination, budget management, schedule management and project risk management, providing training and change management support as required. Proponent will provide both User and System Administration training for all physical access control and CCTV systems including provision or access to training materials and system guide documents. Proponent to provide service for Facility Management service requests using ATB’s Integrated Workplace Management System (IWMS) processes (e.g. PO issuance, job acceptance, invoicing submission, job status completion and uploading relevant documentation, physical asset condition updates, etc.). Proponent to meet Service Level Agreement response times to ensure Facility Management is addressed in a timely manner. Proponent to provide proposals for any new or additional physical access control or video security equipment at ATB locations as requested. Proponent to manage the deployment of approved physical access control or video security equipment for all ATB locations with appropriate ATB site contact. Proponent will advise on the type of camera and best location based on blueprints of each Branch as well as site visits as required for video security equipment Proponent will install physical access control and video security equipment on-site. Proponent shall, in concert with ATB, develop and document specifications and standards Proponent to provide current physical access control and video security equipment and pricing for all new proposal requests.
