Description
The University of Alberta Utilities Department (UA Utilities) is seeking a qualified contractor to complete the structural and hydrostatic isolation of the 60-inch diameter river outfall structure located in the North Saskatchewan River just north of the University of Alberta North Campus. The river discharge pipeline ahead of the outfall structure is made up of a shorter section of 36” pipeline from the original “West Plant” and longer section 48” pipeline from the “East Plant” that discharges river water from the Central Cooling Plant, a critical component to the University’s District Energy System. The scope of work for this project consists of the outfall structure discharge piping isolation, dewatering, inspection, and restoration as detailed in the scope of work below and in the attached drawings and renditions.

Contract duration

The estimated contract period will be 3 month(s), with a proposed start date of 2025/07/07.
