This Request for Proposals (the “RFP”) is an invitation by Parkland County (the “County”) to prospective proponents to submit proposals for Construction Management for Entwistle Water and Wastewater Highway Crossings, as further described in Section A of the RFP Particulars (Appendix A) (the “Deliverables”).
The County is seeking submissions from qualified construction management firms to perform pre-construction services, and the construction of a 300mm watermain and replacement of an existing 150mm sanitary force main in Entwistle, Alberta. Both the water and wastewater components of the project will include crossings of Highway 16 and CN Rail from the South side of the Hamlet to the North, tying into existing infrastructure on both sides. The successful proponent will act as Construction Manager for the duration of the project.
Parkland County is a rural municipality located immediately west of Edmonton. Covering an area of 256,802 hectares (634,571 acres), it is one of the largest in size and one of the highest populated of all rural municipalities in Alberta. Parkland County has grown to a community of over 30,000 people and has seen generations of families continue to enjoy country living.
