Town of Crossfield - Negotiated Request for Proposal - 2025 Sanitary Main Replacement Athabasca Crescent & Saskatchewan Street

Location of the work: Town of Crossfield, Alberta. The base scope of the Work comprises of the following sanitary sewer replacement and all associated rehabilitation within the project limits along Athabasca Crescent & Saskatchewan Street: 1. Removal and replacement of approximately 170 m of 200 mm diameter sanitary sewer main. All existing sanitary manholes within the work area are to be removed and replaced with new structures. 2. Sanitary service connections to adjacent properties that are tied into the affected sewer main shall be replaced up to the property line. The Contractor is responsible for providing and maintaining temporary sanitary bypass systems as needed to ensure uninterrupted service throughout the duration of the construction. 3. Surface restoration including the removal and reconstruction of asphalt pavement and granular base, along with the removal and reinstatement of concrete curbs, gutters, and sidewalks where impacted by the work. A 30 mm asphalt mill and overlay shall be carried out to ensure a uniform and consistent final asphalt surface for areas within the scope of work but outside of the trenching. 4. All disturbed areas, including residential driveways and landscaped surfaces, shall be restored to their original condition and better.
