    Description
Background Corporate Brand & Communications has worked with our current service provider since 2018, when we began our Stories from the Field video project. In the ensuing years, they have helped us create an array of professional videos including Stories from the Field, year-end greetings, Women in Ag winner spotlights and the AFSC values story. AFSC would like to create a list of preferred vendors in order to have flexibility and potentially pursue additional video work including a series of explainer videos, highlighting our product areas. 2.3 Business Objective Agriculture Financial Services Corporation is seeking proposals from qualified vendors to provide professional videography services for corporate videos. This work may include AFSC’s Stories from the Field videos, explainer videos, holiday greetings from the CEO and annual report highlight video but not limited to. The selected vendor(s) will be responsible for capturing high-quality visual content and using storytelling techniques to weave a compelling narrative arc that aligns with our brand and communication goals. The selected vendor (s) must be able to incorporate animation as a core creative element in the production of explainer videos. AFSC Stories from the Field is a video series that highlights the real-life experiences, insights, and impact of Alberta agricultural producers who are clients of AFSC. Through candid interviews and on-location footage, each episode showcases the challenges and successes faced by clients across the province, offering a behind-the-scenes look at their operations and how AFSC’s programs support them. The series aims to foster connection, celebrate resilience, and share the diverse voices that shape Alberta’s agricultural landscape. In addition to producer-focused videos, the series also includes the production of videos that help tell the story of AFSC’s products to potential clients. These videos focus on why the product was created, enhancements that have been made, how we collaborate with producers and industry to create programs that work, and why sustainable programs are important. AFSC Explainer Videos are short, engaging videos designed to clearly communicate a product, service, or process. Using a combination of visuals, narration, and motion graphics, explainer videos help us simplify complex information and make it easy to understand in just a few minutes. Process for Engaging Selected Vendor (s) Step 1: AFSC to issue the Scope of Work (SOW) to selected vendors for availability and pricing The selected Vendor (s) will be invited to respond to project-specific SOWs. The SOW request may include but is not limited to the following: • A proposed timeline for the project • A detailed cost estimate as per the specific project and rates as agreed upon in MSA Step 2: Proposal Evaluation The committee will review all submitted proposals using criteria above Step 3: Vendor Selection and Contracting The highest-scoring Vendor will be selected to undertake the assignment. A final scope of work will be drafted and may be incorporated into the Vendor’s agreement by way of a Purchase Order referencing the MSA. It may include but is not limited to: • The scope of work • Deliverables and timelines 2.4 Duration AFSC is looking to establish a Master Service Agreement (MSA) with one or more videography firms. The initial term of the MSA is intended to begin on or before January 1, 2026 and conclude on or before December 31, 2031. Thereafter, the term may be renewed for up to five (5) successive one (1) year terms provided that the agreement has not been terminated by either parties, and upon mutual written agreement by the parties, executed no less than 90 days prior to the expiration of the initial term. The MSA will define the general terms and conditions, which will govern future delivery of services as requested from time to time by AFSC. A mutually agreed Statement of Work (SOW) will define the details, requirements and related terms for the delivery of services for a specific task or engagement. AFSC reserves the right to establish a list of preferred firms who successfully met the criteria set out in this Scope of Work. Due to the “as-and-when needed” nature of these services, AFSC cannot guarantee any minimum level of expenditure.
