    1. Introduction The Sylvan Lake Municipal Library Board is seeking information from qualified consultants or firms to conduct a comprehensive Organizational Review of the Sylvan Lake Municipal Library. The goal of this review is to evaluate current operations, organizational structure, governance practices, staffing levels, workflows, and service delivery in order to support strategic planning and ensure the Library is positioned to meet community needs effectively and sustainably. This RFI is intended to gather information only and does not constitute a solicitation for formal proposals or a commitment to engage services. 2. Background The Sylvan Lake Municipal Library serves a diverse and growing community with a broad range of programs, services, and collections. As usage patterns, staffing requirements, and community expectations evolve, the Library Board wishes to better understand opportunities for improvement, modernization, and long-term planning. 3. Purpose of the Organizational Review - The overall effectiveness of current organizational structure and staffing. - Operational efficiencies and workflow optimization. - Service delivery strengths and gaps. - Governance practices and policy framework. - Internal communication, roles, and responsibilities. - Future demands relating to community growth, technology, and programming. - Recommendations for improvement and strategic alignment. 4. Requested Information - Organizational Review Approach a. Overview of methodology and assessment tools. b. Description of review components typically included. c. Estimated timelines for a project of this scope. - Firm/Consultant Qualifications a. Summary of experience conducting organizational or operational reviews in libraries, municipalities, or non-profit organizations. b. Relevant project examples or case studies. c. Team members’ qualifications. - Estimated Cost Range a. Standard fee structures (hourly, flat rate, mixed). b. Cost estimates or ranges for comparable reviews. c. Any additional anticipated expenses. - Deliverables a. Types of reports or outputs typically provided. b. Examples of final deliverable formats (if available). - Client References a. At least two organizations for which similar work has been completed. - Other Considerations a. Additional services offered (e.g., strategic planning facilitation, board training). b. Any information the respondent believes may be useful. 5.
