Description
This Request for Quotations (the “RFQ”) is an invitation by Parkland County (the “County”) to prospective respondents to submit quotations for 261 Street Reconstruction, as further described in Section A of the RFQ Particulars (Appendix A) (the “Deliverables”).
261 Street is located within Acheson Business Park Zone 2 and is an important industrial collector serving various commercial and industrial properties on 261 Street and 111 Avenue. 261 Street (150m south of 114 Avenue) has experienced significant pavement structure failure and drainage ditch issues. Proposed improvements include full roadway reconstruction, ditch grading, culvert replacement and cleanout of existing culverts to restore roadway functionality.
Parkland County is a rural municipality located immediately west of Edmonton. Covering an area of 256,802 hectares (634,571 acres), it is one of the largest in size and one of the highest populated of all rural municipalities in Alberta. Parkland County has grown to a community of over 30,000 people and has seen generations of families continue to enjoy country living.
