Description
Supply and Delivery of Bulk Silica Sand on an as needed basis to The City of Calgary Water Treatment Plants. Silica sand is used in the Water Treatment Plants for pretreatment as a critical part of the water treatment process. The Supplier will work closely with The City to ensure clear communication, consistency with order placement, and timely delivery of bulk silica sand to the Glenmore and Bearspaw Water Treatment Plants. The Supplier will prioritize the importance of an uninterrupted supply of silica sand and provide acceptable alternatives as required to ensure no interruptions to occur to The City’s pretreatment process.

The estimated contract period will be 96 month(s), with a proposed start date of 2026/05/01.
