Town of Diamond Valley - Request for Proposal - Parks Equipment Building

Solicitation number AB-2026-02004

Publication date

Closing date and time 2026/03/24 07:59 EDT

    Description
The town of Diamond Valley requires the construction of a new building for the storage of their parks equipment. This equipment includes large mowers, agriculture type tractor, pick up trucks, small power tools, etc. The building will need to be built by early July as our parks department is being moved out of their current location and will need space to move into it readily. The building is expected to be approximately 60’ x 60’ and provide approximately 14’ of ceiling space. It will require one OH door that is 12’ wide and 10 to 12’ tall with an additional 3-man doors. A minimum of 3 windows located on the South side of the building located near the eves of the building (intended for natural light only). The preference would be for a pole building with steel siding and roof, but this is not necessarily a firm decision. The floor will be packed with gravel but prepped for future asphalt. Sufficient motion activated LED lighting from the ceiling is appropriate for outdoor shop use. Walls and ceiling to be insulated, with plywood panel installed for the first 8’ from the ground only. The remaining wall and ceiling space may remain unfinished. The location of this building will be strategically placed behind the Oilfields Arena and Curling Club. (Image attached). The building will be placed as close to the South exterior wall of the arena as possible. The space is snug but spacious enough to complete the project. Project Scope • Provide list of materials expected to complete this project. • Provide a rendering of the structure proposed. • Provide an estimated date to begin ad duration. • Provide total cost of project including all expenses anticipated to complete this project. It is hoped that this building would be erected and move in ready by the end of June or early July 2026. The winning proposal will be responsible for the entirety of the project scope from supply and delivery, layout/construction, and provide the appropriate permits.

    Contract duration

The estimated contract period will be 2 month(s), with a proposed start date of 2026/04/20.
