Description
The Town of Banff operates the Fenlands Banff Recreation Centre, a multi-use facility with a busy winter season. The facility maintains a rental inventory of approximately 97 skates (including figure skates with toe picks) and provides skate sharpening for rental inventory maintenance and for public/booking users (modest cost recovery). The existing Dupliskate RS6 skate sharpener has reached end-of-life and requires replacement. The Town is seeking a commercial automatic sharpener suitable for high-volume rink operations with strong support and readily available parts/consumables, as further described in this RFP.
