Description
The University of Alberta Faculty of Medicine and Dentisrty is purchasing a PBS-MiniPRO Vertical-Wheel Single Use Bioreactor System from PBS Biotech, Inc, specifically the PBS 3 MAG single use bioreactor system with patented Vertical-Wheel technology. The PBS 3 MAG single use bioreactor system with patented Vertical-Wheel technology is the only bioreactor that can differentiate 3D pancreatic islets for human transplantation without significant cell loss. The Vertical-Wheel technology solves the fluid dynamic problem required for this specific clinical application.
