Description
The Town of Coaldale received a grant through the Federation of Canadian Municipalities (FCM) Green Municipal Fund under the Growing Canada's Community Canopies (GCCC) initiative to develop this Urban Forest Management Plan. The Town's existing urban forest plan dates from 2009 and no longer reflects current community growth, updated climate projections, or modern urban forestry best practices. The UFMP will establish a comprehensive, evidence based framework for managing Coaldale's urban forest over the next 10 to 20 years. Through this RFP, the Town seeks to select a qualified professional consulting organization to develop and deliver the Urban Forest Management Plan in a manner consistent with GCCC funding requirements and best practices in urban forestry.

The estimated contract period will be 6 month(s), with a proposed start date of 2026/09/01.
