Description
1. This RFP is open only to those Prequalified Parties who have received notification from The City prior to Submission Deadline that they are Prequalified for Prime Contractor for Safety status in the following category or categories: Schedule H - Buildings General Contractor. 2. This Project consists of the Construction of a new co-located Fire Station and Public Library in Walden, southeast Calgary. The facility houses Calgary Fire Department operations and a Calgary Public Library branch. 3. This procurement process is not intended to create, and, will not create, a formal, legally binding bidding process. It will instead be governed by the law applicable to direct commercial negotiations. 4. Scheduled operational date is January 21, 2028.

The estimated contract period will be 18 month(s), with a proposed start date of 2026/07/29.
