Description
As part of the ASI program, the proposed developments at the University Alberta Hospital will relocate the Same Day Admit, Day surgery, and Extended Day Surgery pre-op patient holding areas, providing the space to expand the Post-Anesthetic Care Unit, which currently does not meet the national standard of 1.5 to 2 PACU beds per OR. The project will deliver the following major elements: • Relocation of the Same Day Admit, Day Surgery and Extended Day Surgery pre-op patient holding currently located in 3B1.02 to 2B5 Lab. • Expand Post-Anesthetic Care Unit 3B1.10 to vacated 3B1.02 to meet the national standard for PACU to OR ratio.

The estimated contract period will be 36 month(s), with a proposed start date of 2026/07/01.
