Description
The Town of Stony Plain is seeking the services of a qualified engineering consulting firm to undertake an integrated water system planning assignment that includes both municipal-scale water master planning for the Town of Stony Plain and regional/wholesale system planning and reliability analysis for the Capital Region Parkland Water Services Commission (CRPWSC) (the “Commission”). The overall purpose of this assignment is to provide a technically defensible, implementable, and staged planning framework to guide water system investment, growth servicing, reliability, and risk management over the medium to long term. Key objectives include: • Confirming current and future system capacity relative to projected demand. • Assessing system performance, reliability, and vulnerability under normal, peak, and emergency conditions. • Identifying and prioritizing capital improvement, rehabilitation, and renewal projects. • Providing a transparent basis for capital planning, financial decision-making, and implementation timing. • Producing decision-focused deliverables suitable for Council, Commission, and senior management review.

Contract duration

The estimated contract period will be 12 month(s), with a proposed start date of 2026/08/12.
