Description
The Alberta Geological Survey (AGS), a branch of the Alberta Energy Regulator (AER), is undertaking a program to reanalyze rock sample pulps and archived lake sediment samples to generate modern, high-quality, multielement datasets. This work supports provincial mineral resource characterization and mineral prospectivity modelling initiatives.
This Request for Proposal (RFP) seeks qualified analytical laboratories to perform geochemical analysis on archived lake sediment and rock sample pulps. The work focuses exclusively on analytical services, quality assurance/quality control (QA/QC), and data delivery.
The resulting datasets will be released publicly and must meet stringent standards for analytical quality, consistency, and completeness.
Contract duration
The estimated contract period will be 12 month(s), with a proposed start date of 2026/08/14.
