City of Calgary - Request for Proposal - RFP 26-1599 For Engineering Services for Expansion Joint Assessment and Foul Air System & Blower Upgrades – Bonnybrook WWTP.

The City of Calgary is soliciting proposals from qualified engineering firms for the provision of following consulting services for the following items: (a) Conduct condition assessment of the process and foul air system expansion joints and provide consulting services required for its replacement. (b) Upgrade of the Foul air blowers. Based on the latest evaluation, provide engineering support for the replacement of the two (2) existing blowers with new units to satisfy current Foul air demand. The City of Calgary will select a single (integrated) project team to deliver the Project. This project anticipates the following Phases: Phase 1: Item (a) Condition Assessment and investigation to determine reasons for expansion joints misalignment and failure, delivery of technical memo and preliminary contractor’s scope of work for its replacement. Item (b) Design brief review, preparation of RFP documents for the blower pre-purchase, assistance with bidders RFIs and submission evaluation. Phase 2: Detailed design services including blower shop drawings review, services during the construction (installation) procurement for (a) and (b). Phase 3: Consulting services during construction, commissioning and post construction services, as outlined in this RFP.
