Description
As per Developed Road Allowance Vegetation Control Policy C-5A.016, the M.D.is responsible for the direction, control and management of all roads within the M.D. boundaries. Regular vegetation control helps ensure a high level of visibility, supports adequate drainage, prevents noxious weeds from spreading and allows for easier snow removal and general maintenance. The M.D. of Bonnyville may contract these services out on an annual basis.
Work to be performed:
1. Vegetation removal from all locations marked on map. Attachment A
2. Vegetation removed (Weed Whacking) on Bridges as 3m x 3m from onset of bridge (both sides)(both ends). Attachment B
3. Vegetation removal (Weed whacking) on Bridge Culverts 3m x 3m.
Attachment C
4. Vegetation removal (Weed whacking) on Guardrails 3m x 1m-1.5m.
Attachment D
5. Vegetation will be cut to a height of 2” or less.
6. Contractor will supply all tools and equipment for vegetation removal.
7. The project will commence cutting on or about the 1st of August each year.
8. Each site will be cut once.
9. Must complete Contracting Employer Pre-Qualifications (Attached)
10. Compensation will be paid, as agree, upon satisfactory completion of the
entire project.

The estimated contract period will be 1 month(s), with a proposed start date of 2026/07/13.
