    Description
    This Request for Information (RFI) is issued by The City of Calgary (The City), on behalf of Calgary Transit is this RFI to gather information from the marketplace regarding AI enabled solutions for monitoring and reporting on the condition of bus stop assets. The purpose of this RFI is to: • Understand current market capabilities, best practices, and solution approaches; • Identify companies with experience in computer vision, AI, and asset condition assessment; • Inform internal decision making related to a potential future pilot, proof of concept, or competitive procurement process. The responses received from this RFI will assist The City to gather information in support of the potential creation of a subsequent Request for Proposal (RFP) or Request for Quotation (RFQ), which may lead to contract award through the evaluation of proposals. This is an opportunity for potential vendors to respond with their proposals as well as any innovative and cost-effective ideas that will help The City understand what types of capabilities exist in the industry to help determine requirements to form a strategy to move this to market. No commitment exists under this RFI and no award will be granted. This opportunity is published solely for the purpose of collecting market information and obtaining a list of potential bidders for the future RFP or RFQ
