Description
The University of Calgary (UCalgary) intends to award a service contract to GLM Services Ltd (GLM) for strategic academic and research advisory services. The vendor’s key personnel has been serving as a President Fellow, with a mandate to advise the President and support the School of Public Policy (SPP). They are a highly respected scholar in Canada with extensive connections across multiple levels of government and the founding figure of the School. SPP is a think tank and academic unit at the University of Calgary, with approximately 40% of its funding provided by the University and the remaining 60% secured through external sources. The vendor’s key personnel has been instrumental in securing external funding for SPP and supporting the broader interests of the University of Calgary. SPP requires a new contract with the vendor to continue providing services.
