Solicitation number AB-2026-05447

Closing date and time 2026/08/12 10:00 EDT
Description
PROJECT BACKGROUND: A tornado caused significant damage within the campground area, resulting in extensive downed trees, woody debris, and the dispersal of mixed waste materials, including insulation, wood, metal, and plastics from damaged RVs, buildings, and vehicles. These materials are scattered throughout the campground and surrounding vegetation and require specialized cleanup and disposal.
The damaged campground areas present ongoing public safety hazards and prevent visitor access and use. As a result, the campground has been closed for the remainder of the 2026 operating season. The day-use area sustained limited damage and remains open to the public.
PROJECT OBJECTIVE: This project will improve public and staff safety, restore access to affected areas, and enable comprehensive assessment of damaged infrastructure.
Refer to the RFQ document for additional information and complete scope of work.
Contract duration
The estimated contract period will be 2 month(s), with a proposed start date of 2026/08/17.
