Description
Greenview is requiring a proponent to purchase and install a new 350-400KW Cummins or MTU onsite energy diesel generator as an emergency back up power supply for the Greenview Regional Multiplex. The generator must have a minimum 24 hour run time capacity and be totally enclosed. This generator is vital to the community, as the Greenview Regional Multiplex is identified as the Emergency Response Centre for both the Town of Valleyview and the surrounding Municipal District of Greenview No. 16 community. As there is currently no generator installed, Greenview requires the successful proponent to build in the infrastructure to allow the switching between power sources. This will involve the modifications to the main disconnect for power into the building as well as the connections for the transfer switch. Due to the limited space in the electrical room, both the generator and transfer switch must be mounted outside and locked.
