Rental of Seasonal Graders with Operator(s)

1 - This RFP is open to all interested suppliers. 2 - The City has a seasonal requirement for the provision of up to sixty (60) Graders with Qualified Operator(s) and (“Units”) on an as required basis, for the purpose of snow clearing and removal during snow events in the winter months. Peak Winter months for the purposes of this contract will begin November 1st, through to April 1st annually. These Units will supplement The City of Calgary’s Snow and Ice Control (“SNIC”) program to ensure that priority routes are cleared in a timely manner for the citizens of Calgary. 3 - This procurement process is not intended to create, and, will not create, a formal, legally binding bidding process. It will instead be governed by the law applicable to direct commercial negotiations. 4 - The Agreement will be for an initial term of one (1) year. The Agreement may be renewed, three (3) times for one (1) years each time, no more than four (4) years in total.
