Description
The Caribou Habitat Recovery Program (CHRP) is an ongoing initiative to restore legacy seismic lines with the 15 caribou ranges throughout the province. Alberta has identified over 250,000km within caribou ranges and has estimated that well over 40% of the lines are not revegetating on their own. Without intervention and planting of trees, these legacy seismic lines will likely never become future habitat needed for caribou. Securing skilled contractors to conduct this work is critical to demonstrating progress on the recovery of caribou habitat with the Little Smoky and A La Peche caribou ranges.
Contract duration
The estimated contract period will be 12 month(s), with a proposed start date of 2023/10/20.
