Description
ENMAX Energy Corporation (“ENMAX”) is issuing this Request for Proposal (“RFP”) for Owner Engineering services to support the development of carbon capture technology at its facilities. Currently, ENMAX is leading the development of a large-scale carbon capture facility at its Shepard Energy Centre (“SEC”) which will reduce CO2 emissions from SEC by up to 96% and will capture and store over ~2M tonnes of CO2/year. Once completed the Carbon Capture Facility will be the largest Carbon Capture plant in Canada and the first of its kind in North America as there are no existing carbon capture projects that capture CO2 emissions from an NGCC electricity-generation facility.  This RFP may result in a Master Service Agreement ("MSA") for the Work described herein.

Contract duration

The estimated contract period will be 118 month(s), with a proposed start date of 2023/02/28.
