Description
The department is supporting and assisting Indigenous communities to locate unmarked graves of their ancestors and relatives. Ground Penetrating Radar (GPR) is the most well-established remote sensing method in detection of unmarked graves.
The Mala MIRA HDR Array GPR’s advanced resolution is critical for the research being conducted because it has the ability to record extreme amplitude values and very small variations within that range. The HDR technology produces data with significantly lower noise levels that removes more of the background interference. It gives sharper data and higher contrast with the ability to see deeper.
TerraPlus is the only authorized distributor of the Mala MIRA HDR Array GPR in North America that is manufactured by Guideline Geo.
