CLOSING: January 4, 2024 AFSC BUYER: Kathy Walker Description: Kaastra Capital Inc. provides an unparalleled skill set required to develop and execute an expansion of the Livestock Price Insurance program to three eastern provinces. Work has commenced with Kaastra Capital Corp. by the eastern provinces representing body (Maritime Beef Council). Sole source is proposed to Kaastra Capital Corp. for Eastern Livestock Price Insurance actuarial services, for Agriculture Financial Services Corporation. The Goods or Services are specific to: ___ Brand specific requirements ___ No substitution basis ___ Based on proprietary licensing terms and conditions __X_ Technical compatibility/integration with AFSC applications/existing product investment The Contract is intended to commence January 15, 2024 and shall be reviewed/renewed annually unless terminated earlier. The Actuarial services provided will be used until such time as AFSC’s business needs change. The annual estimated cost is approximately $140,000 CAD. During the Contract, AFSC: a) may purchase more Goods or Services than the estimated value, or b) may purchase less Goods or Services than the estimated value, and c) is not obligated to purchase any Goods or Services.
