Description
The consultant will provide subject matter expertise and support as needed for a term (ending January 19, 2024) to complete research, community engagement/public awareness and education, and DCSS updates as directed by Administration. The BSCF Consultant will maintain a close working relationship with the City of Lethbridge and key Municipal personnel, including Lethbridge Police Services, throughout the assignment, playing a critical role in the implementation of the BSCF program. The consultant will leverage their knowledge, subject matter expertise, experience, and relationships to support the City of Lethbridge to lead the strategizing of gun and gang violence interventions, with an emphasis on youth, and address knowledge gaps concerning impacts of interventions in gun and gang violence.

The estimated contract period will be 7 month(s), with a proposed start date of 2023/08/01.
