(Please use this title and number on all correspondence.) The City of Calgary (“The City”) requires suppliers capable of the supply & delivery of various types of batteries to maintain city operations. The City requires the supply & delivery of batteries ranging from automotive, equipment and household to maintain city operations as outline in the below schedules: • Schedule A – Vehicle and Equipment Batteries • Schedule B – Trailer Batteries Other business units within The City, may utilize this contract, on an as if and when required basis. This procurement process is not intended to create, and, will not create, a formal, legally binding bidding process. It will instead be governed by the law applicable to direct commercial negotiations. The City may enter into one (1) Agreement for all schedules or an Agreement for each schedule with the highest evaluated proponent for the provision of the Deliverables for each schedule. The City reserves the right to award the contract in whole or in part, or to delete any portion of the work when deemed in the best interest of the City. The Agreement will be for an initial term of one (1) year. The Agreements may be renewed for two (2) additional two (2) year terms, not to exceed a maximum of five (5) years. The Agreement will not include a PoC.
