    Description
    The main items of Work of this Contract include the following: .1 Excavation and disposing of contaminated soil along the new drainage line alignment. All soil in the area is assumed to be contaminated. .2 Installing and backfilling the new drainage line, including tie-ins to existing manholes and installation of one new manhole. .3 Install a concrete pad to separate new drainage line from existing ATCO utilities. .4 Coordinate with ATCO and other utility owners throughout the duration of the project. .5 Re-install concrete pathway and asphalt roadway. .6 Landscaping including tree removal, shrub removal, topsoil, seeding, and sodding. .7 Other works as identified in the Drawings. .2 The Site of the Work of this Contract is located at 60 1 Ave W, Drumheller, AB T0J 0Y0, commonly referred to as the “Rotary Spray Park”, in the community of Drumheller, Alberta. .3 The Contractor will be expected to supply and install temporary fencing around all equipment, materials, and workspaces due to this area being a high traffic area for pedestrians. If required, a small laydown space can be utilized on the adjoining parking area, however, it should be noted that two other construction activities are anticipated to take place in this area around the same time. All laydowns and workspaces will need to be approved by Owner prior to commencing work. The Contractor will be expected to coordinate their workspace and laydown with other activities in the area.
