    Description
    This RFP is to select a Contractor to provide Disposal and Locked Bin Services on behalf of Technology and Innovation. This is to ensures the secure and timely disposal of record materials in various media. The Records Disposal Service is centrally managed by the Province through the Alberta Records Centre. Materials designated for destruction are transported securely to the service provider’s facility for secure shredding. The Locked Bin Service is centrally managed by the Province and is available in Edmonton and surrounding area (35 km radius). The locked bin consoles are to be serviced on a regular schedule as determined by the successful Proponent and the Province based on volumes and User needs with the shredding completed at the service provider’s facility. This supports Service Alberta’s mission to provide responsive, standardized and efficient shared services across the Government of Alberta (GoA) and to gain efficiencies for the business of government.

    Contract duration

    The estimated contract period will be 60 month(s), with a proposed start date of 2024/01/02.
