    Description
Civida requires general contractor services to complete various project scopes comprising of capital maintenance and suite renovation work on an as and when needed basis. The location of work will vary, however, all properties are located within the City of Edmonton and surrounding area (refer to the property listing maintained on Civida’s website under Doing Business With Us | Civida). Civida manages an estimated 5200 units across 140 sites with 800 buildings – currently 28 Civida-owned. Buildings range in age with the bulk of the properties built in the 1970s and early 1980s. The property map under the following link identifies all locations that could require work: (Google Map of Sites). Civida-managed properties are primarily small apartment buildings and townhouse complexes with a few stand-alone houses. The properties managed by Civida have various owners including the City of Edmonton (currently 12 properties) and Alberta Social Housing Corporation (currently 101 properties). ASHC may choose to use the Pre-Qualified Contractor Roster for properties managed by other Housing Management Bodies in the greater Edmonton region. The term of this RPQ will be for a five (5) year period with an approximate commence date of June 1, 2023 through and including May 31, 2028, with an option in favour of Civida to extend for an additional five (5) years.
