    Description
    Alberta Parks is seeking proposals from qualified proponents to perform services for a five (5) year period related to daily operation, monitoring and maintenance of water systems located at Writing on Stone Provincial Park within the South Region in Alberta, Canada. The water plant is situated in a geographically diverse prairie and valley area and is therefore subject to adverse weather and driving conditions. The work will be completed in accordance with the conditions and requirements of the Alberta Approval 377751-00-00, any amendments thereof, and all applicable Federal and Provincial legislation, codes and regulations. Work will include the complete daily/weekly/annual operations and maintenance of the water treatment plant and distribution system as well as response to emergency callouts and/or breakdowns. In order to stay in compliance with the Approval, the Proponent must maintain a certified operator, certified at the level of the water system, within a two (2) hour emergency response time and able to respond in person if required at all times. Work performance includes adherence to standards, regulations and codes applicable to public and worker safety, administration, fire protection, construction and mechanical/electrical systems.

    Contract duration

    The estimated contract period will be 60 month(s), with a proposed start date of 2023/04/01.
