Description
1. This RFP is open to all interested vendors.
2. The City of Calgary owns numerous permanent infrastructure such as bridges, waterlines, outfalls, etc. that exist within Crown lands. Crown lands could include bed and shore of waterbodies, unpatented lands, and Provincially titled land and is administered by Alberta Environment and Parks (AEP). The City requires the services of a qualified consulting firm to provide support for the submission of new applications and renewals of existing licenses to ensure compliance with the Provincial acts.
The Consultant will be required to submit all documentation required for new applications and renewals of dispositions on the EDS or OneStop online systems. Where required, develop and submit disposition plans to the Plan Confirmation System (PCS).
3. This procurement process is not intended to create, and, will not create, a formal, legally binding bidding process. It will instead be governed by the law applicable to direct commercial negotiations.
4. The initial term of the Agreement is three (3) years. After the initial term, The City will have an option to renew the Agreement for one (1) additional two (2) year period for a total potential term of five (5) years.
Contract duration
The estimated contract period will be 36 month(s), with a proposed start date of 2023/04/24.
