The Industrial Heartland Designated Industrial Zone (IH-DIZ) is a Government Platform Commitment and Alberta Environment and Protected Areas (AEPA) Ministerial priority that aligns with economic recovery, red tape reduction, and regulatory transformation. The goal of the IH-DIZ project is to create a streamlined regulatory framework for the Industrial Heartland region of Alberta that will stimulate the economy of the region and create jobs while ensuring that environmental outcomes are achieved.
