    Description
Alberta has many areas of strength to attract investment including a competitive tax system, low cost of living, access to a highly educated and trained workforce, and research and development infrastructure. While Alberta has competitive strengths, other North American jurisdictions offer a combination of targeted incentives and favourable investment conditions, particularly for manufacturing investment. The Minister of Jobs, Economy and Trade’s mandate letter includes the following item: As lead, working with the Ministers of Treasury Board and Finance as well as Forestry and Parks, develop programs similar to the Agri-Processing Investment Tax Credit to incentivize investment in forestry and other manufacturing sectors. The Services to be performed for this Project will be in furtherance of this mandate item.

    Contract duration

The estimated contract period will be 3 month(s), with a proposed start date of 2024/02/12.
