Description
1. This RFP is open to pre-qualified firms only. Proponents are invited who have been prequalified previously under Stage 1 of this procurement. 2. The City of Calgary has invited prequalified proponents into this second stage of the RiverWalk West Design Competition to take on a challenge that will transform Calgary's RiverWalk West into a dynamic and exciting destination. RiverWalk West is an important project to help advance the vision and strategic moves identified in the Greater Downtown Plan (GDP) for the future of Downtown West. Through the goals of the Riverwalk West (previously known as the Downtown West River Promenade) we anticipate a resilient and vibrant downtown for everyone. 3. This procurement process is not intended to create, and, will not create, a formal, legally binding bidding process. It will instead be governed by the law applicable to direct commercial negotiations. 4. Project anticipated completion is Spring 2025
