Supply, Delivery and Installation of Systems Furniture, Fixtures and Equipment

The AESO is consolidating its corporate headquarters to 240 Fourth, a premier office development in downtown Calgary overlooking the Eau Claire district and Bow River Valley. Construction will commence in January 2024 with completion anticipated by October that same year. The scope of work for this RFP includes the purchase, delivery and installation of furniture, fixtures and equipment (“FF&E”) which conform with the AESO’s design criteria. Ancillary furniture, task and conference seating, and storage will be selected by the AESO in consultation with its design partner and the Successful Bidder. A mock up of workstations will only be required to be provided by the Successful Bidder and the extent of the mock up will be confirmed by the AESO at a later date. In addition to the FF&E purchase subject to this RFP, the AESO would like to establish a discount structure for future purchases from the same manufacturers, and an ongoing service agreement with the Successful Bidder. Additional project goals include providing quality office furnishings that are durable, easily maintained, functional, and visually and acoustically pleasing, and that incorporate the latest technology and sustainable design features which promote improved quality of work life.
