Description
Alberta Parks has issued this RFQ to procure qualified Arborist services to:
1. Complete pruning and tree removals for trees identifies as hazardous for the 19 km length of the Central Corridor Pathway in support of public safety.
2. Complete tree removals (excluding stump removal) in preparation for spring 2024 construction of:
• The eastern segment of the Central Corridor Pathway from Mallard Point up to and including the Bow Bottom Trail SE pedestrian crossing.
• Special Project 1 – Realignment of a small pathway segment away from an eroding shoreline of Fish Creek east of Glennfield Day Use Area.
• Special Project 2 – Removal of a staircase paired with a new trail alignment near the community of Evergreen Estates.
• Special Project 3 – Mitigation to a small pathway segment in Marshall Springs.
Contract duration
The estimated contract period will be 1 month(s), with a proposed start date of 2024/02/05.
