This RFP will hire a contractor to provide the timely and objective monitoring, evaluation and reporting of data and information on air, land, water and biodiversity, including information necessary to understand cumulative effects, in order to better inform the understanding of the public, policy makers, regulators, planners, researchers, communities, and industry. The objective of this project is to establish spatial and temporal patterns of trace metals in biological tissues (e.g., fish, invertebrates). This is to support multiple work plans throughout the Alberta oil sands region. These work plans include the collection of various biological samples. The successful contractor would then be required to homogenize, extract, and analyzed the samples for trace metals.

The estimated contract period will be 41 month(s), with a proposed start date of 2023/11/01.
