Description
The City of Lethbridge electric department intends to enter a contract with an experienced consultant in the field of distributed generation to assist the electrical department to review generation connections. The strategic agreement will consist of a three (3) year contract, with an option of one (1), two (2) year extension. The consultant will act as the main resource to assist the utility with distribution generation applications. The consultant may be asked to meet with the utility and developers on-site to identify hazards and assist the utility generally during application and development, all the way through to connection and testing of the facilities to ensure compliance to the specified industry and City guidelines. As the utility cannot guarantee that any connection applications will be received during the contract period, the city cannot guarantee any amount of work under the terms of this contract, and the basis of the contract will be an hourly rate for any services rendered as well as travel expenses incurred by the consultant

The estimated contract period will be 36 month(s), with a proposed start date of 2023/09/01.
