    Description
    The City of Red Deer (the “City”) invites prospective respondents to submit ­­­­­information for Supplier pre-qualification for an Advanced Metering Infrastructre (AMI) System. Due to the project’s complexity and confidential information, required to submit a proposal, Suppliers interested in submitting a proposal for this project must be pre-qualified by the City first. Information the City considered confidential but critical to bidding is including but not limited to: Location of assets, equipment, and infrastructure Systems, programs and software in use at the City Location of critical electrical and communication infrastructure Trade secrets External relationships and contract arrangements The purpose of this RFQL process is to pre-qualify up to 7 Suppliers for eligibility to participate in an invitational second-stage competitive process, and this RFQL process is not intended to result in any agreement between the City and any respondent. While the City intends to conduct an invitational second-stage competitive process for the procurement of the Deliverables, it is under no obligation to do so and the City may, in its sole and absolute discretion, choose not to proceed with a second-stage competitive process for the procurement of the Deliverables.
