    *Questions and Answers (Q&A) document added April 6, 2023* Questions and Answers (Q&A) document added March 29, 2023 The role of the Contractor’s Resource under any resulting Contract will involve providing automated application testing services on an inflight agile, cloud software development project as well as several projects within the Digital Content Management and Delivery branch of the Curriculum Division. The Contractor’s Resource will be joining an extremely creative and highly talented team of individuals that are passionate about creating great products for our educational partners. Services include the following: 1. Provide application testing services for New LearnAlberta.ca, LearnAlberta.ca and related applications as part of an agile software development team. 2. Provide automated test development services. 3. Provide application testing services for on-premise and cloud-based applications. 4. Review business requirements, user stories, bug logs and clarify any ambiguity, ensuring testing conditions are understood. 5. Track and report all defect status and ensure resolution of defects. 6. Create and execute test plans and test cases. 7. Identify and document software bugs and usability issues. 8. Manage the bug list and backlogs to ensure bug accuracy, priority, status, and severity. 9. Gather and manage test data. 10. Evaluate outcomes of test cycles. 11. Identify the most appropriate implementation approach for a given test. 12. Track test results, statistics, metrics and status. 13. Plan, document and lead user acceptance testing. 14. Coordinate the test case execution with the different testers

    Contract duration

    The estimated contract period will be 36 month(s), with a proposed start date of 2023/05/01.
