Description
The City of Chestermere would like to provide some concept planning for future projects. In 2020 a document was created with options for active transportation enhancements and crosswalk safety. The East Side Active Transportation Plan is attached for reference to the RFP. After public consultation and Council direction, it has been narrowed down to a few areas to gain further clarification of costing and what the projects could potentially incorporate. Administration is looking for costing for the multi-use pathway (MUP) option to compare it to a full residential cross section enhancement. The other small project is to increase the safety and functionality in a difficult intersection, long and short-term options would need to be considered.
Contract duration
The estimated contract period will be 6 month(s), with a proposed start date of 2023/06/07.
