Description
Vendors will offer proactive and adaptable resource management for both part-time and full-time positions of quality assurance ("QA") engineers. BC Housing aims to deploy these resources to aid the organization in infrastructure change projects, business applications, and application support and maintenance.
BC Housing is seeking vendors who resonate with its overarching strategy to enhance testing and QA standards. This objective will be met by deploying QA engineers with progressive and innovative mindsets. BC Housing will count on these QA engineers as an integral part of the services to enhance the inherent quality of its products, reduce delivery lead times, and consistently refine test strategies, planning, estimation, test case development, execution, quality reviews, and overall product performance.
In relation to QAT Services, BC Housing seeks QA engineers who will provide testing engineer assistance for the specific product(s) assigned to the project team by BC Housing. These resources will conduct various testing activities, including test planning, test execution, nonproduction environment application verification, and implementation of process improvement changes as necessary. Additionally, they will oversee knowledge development to ensure that essential knowledge is readily available to BC Housing employees. Resource utilization planning and any other services required by BC Housing to ensure quality systems support and delivery are also expected.
The successful vendors are anticipated to engage in active collaboration with BC Housing's working groups and communities of practice. This collaboration aims to cultivate a culture of built-in quality, continual learning, and improvement in testing practices, test cases, and automation wherever feasible.
