Description
Notice is hereby given; the City of Chilliwack intends to participate in one or more procurements
conducted by Sourcewell and Canoe Procurement Group of Canada between January 1, 2023 to
December 31, 2023.
Canoe and Sourcewell’s cooperative contract purchasing leverages the national purchasing
power of more than 50,000 member agencies while also streamlining the required purchasing
process. As a national municipal contracting agency, Canoe and Sourcewell establish and
provide nationally leveraged and competitively solicited purchasing contracts under the
guidance of the Uniform Municipal Contracting Law. Joint Powers laws enable members to
legally purchase through the awarded contracts.
2. Parties interested in becoming a vendor must follow the respective registration or competitive
solicitation processes for Canoe and Sourcewell. For further information about Sourcewell,

Canoe, please visit the website at https://canoeprocurement.ca/.
3. For further information and access to the Sourcewell and Canoe tender notices, please review

4. Additionally, the City participates in cooperative buying using the following cooperative buying
resources:
a. Lower Mainland Purchasing Group (LMPG)
b. BC Government Corporate Supply Arrangement (CSA)
