    Introduction

    Acting as the Construction Manager for the City of Surrey (the “City”), Scott Construction Management Ltd. (Scott Construction) invites select trades to submit Pre-Qualification statements for the Chuck Bailey Recreation Centre Expansion project.

    This Invitation for Trade Contractors Pre-Qualification will enable Scott Construction and the City to determine your capacity, skill, and relevant experience for eligibility to submit proposals and pricing for the identified work packages for the Chuck Bailey Recreation Centre Expansion.

    The Work

    The Work of the Contract includes Tenant Improvements to the existing Chuck Bailey Recreation Centre, and the construction of an extension to the facility. The extension will include facilities such as a new underground parking facility, a gymnasium, and other community services and amenities. The Work will be completed in two phases with the Tenant Improvement works to be completed before the construction of the extension.

    The prequalification process is intended to establish a list of trade contactors with the necessary expertise, capability, and resources to perform the work. Only those contractors that prequalify will be invited to submit a tender.

    This invite is to submit prequalification documents for the following tender packages only.
